John Gilfillan

Pastor

John and Cherie were married in 2006. They have been blessed with five children; Isaac, Jackson, Adeline, Olivia and Luke, as well as a dog named Kona. The Gilfillan family has lived in the Kalamazoo area since 2006.

John and Cherie enjoy meeting new friends, visiting old ones, and making the best of every situation.

Cole Brandon

Pastor

Cole and Zayda grew up at the same church in Kalamazoo and married in 2017. They are the happy parents of Lewis, Geneva, and Halle, with more to come.

Cole works as a Private Wealth Advisor in Grand Rapids. The Brandon family’s favorite activity is participating in whatever someone at CityGate is doing.

Mike Norton

Lay pastor

Mike and Becky grew up together at Bethel Baptist Church in Kalamazoo and were married in 2006. They have four children: Lucas, Leah, Audrey, and Hope. Mike works for a Disaster Restoration company in Kalamazoo and Becky takes care of the family from home.

They enjoy being outdoors and active as well as serving the church and loving people.

Adam Snider

Adam and Ivonne grew up going to school and church together and were married in 2007. They have been blessed with three children; Isaiah, Levi, and Claudia. The Snider family has lived in the Kalamazoo/Portage area since 2007.

Adam is a teacher at a local high school and Ivonne works as a professional counselor in the Kalamazoo area. The Snider family was one of the families that helped launch CityGate Church. The Sniders enjoy living in community with fellow believers and enjoys the common faith that unites us and can be shared through the power of the Gospel.
